Ja, ek weet, I’m not the only person writing about the iconic sacred gathering-festival-anarchic debauched party that is Afrikaburn. Nor is it the first time I’ve written about it. But I did participate in its creation for the first time in a decade so that means a little reflection on it is perhaps easier.
