We are all on a journey through strange times and places. Perhaps this is a ‘travel blog’, from another set of perspectives, by an author trying to avoid tripping in the undergrowth. (Tripping on the underground, perhaps, under the right divinely ordained circumstances and in the company of chuckling ancestors). Along the way resonances may emerge, pummelled with African soil and sunshine, blasted by the potholes of tired mythologies, brewed with umqombothi and poured as libations - hopefully from these ritual words comes a new seeing, a new sniffing of the air in gratitude. Or perhaps it's just an idling in time, a moment to share my heart with yours before the next cycle of breath hurtles us on.

If you want to join me in this longer form journey, let's dance. I’ve started recording some too (you can also hear me at simricyarrow.bandcamp.com ) And hopefully I'll help you to find the words in the undergrowth that the worms want you to sing.
